I did not start in tech. I built my Agile career from a background in public administration, education, and healthcare leadership — proving, long before I built this academy, that you do not need a technical degree to lead world-class Agile delivery.
I led a £23M NHS transformation programme as Head of PMO at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust — coordinating clinical, operational, and technical teams through one of the most complex change environments in the public sector. Before that I served an AdTech company as an Agile Delivery Manager at VIOOH, and also served as Senior Project Manager, Scrum Master, Agile Coach at various global private and public sectors.
In parallel — because one career was never going to be enough — I lectured in Business and IT at further education colleges, earning my PGCE and developing the teaching instinct that now sits at the heart of everything I build.
I hold a Doctor of Education (EdD) from the UCAM, an MSc in Information Technology from the University of Aberdeen, and certifications in SAFe 6.0, PSM I, ICP-ACC, and PRINCE2. I am the author of The Agile Edge.
I relocated from the UK to Ottawa, Canada as a Permanent Resident — and started building again. The Dr. Chidimma Agile Academy, Royal Soft Life, and the Operational Clarity Group are the result of that rebuild. All three running simultaneously. Because that is who I am.
